Ike Ibeabuchi vs. Chris Byrd
Ike is the only man to have dealt David Tua a loss. Since that win almost 2 years ago, he has went on to score a 1st round KO of Tim Ray July of last year, and a 9th round KO of Everton Davis last September. I've read press reports that say Ike attacked his handlers in preparing for Byrd. Kinda reminds you of Monk (aka George Foreman) preparing for Ali . .  . .hmmm
Chris Byrd was a 92 silver medalist . . as a middleweight!! Chris has some impressive wins, like going the distance with Uriah Grant and stopping both Jimmy Thunder and Craig Peterson.  To be honest, I find his sister Tracy a more exciting fighter to watch. Chris is a boxer that has, in my opinion, an irritating, lumbering style and I hate watching this blown up middleweight fight! I want to see someone get inside, and bust him up. I believe Ike is the man for the job.
Ibeabuchi by unanimous decision

Kirk Johnson vs. Al Cole

Their first fight was an exciting one. expect this one to be much of the same. The only difference, Kirk Johnson will be the victor. Cole has let me down before in his losses to Michael Grant and Tim Witherspoon. I feel Cole is still a cruiserweight that can't hang with the heavies.
A year after after rocky Pepeli went the distance with James "Buster" Douglas and lost by decision, Johnson stopped him in the first round!! That in itself should speak volumes. I expect the much youger Johnson to go in and avenge his only draw, and beat Al Cole handily. Expect a late round stoppage.
Johnson KO inside 8
